This learning program, designed as an alternative to the standard GPS II/MAPP program, brings the preparation and selection process to individual families who cannot participate in group meetings. This program includes seven family consultations that prepare families for their fostering role. During this training, each prospective foster/adoptive parent must also complete six workbooks. Certified GPS II/MAPP leaders can become certified Deciding Together leaders by completing this training workshop. Before attending this instructor-led training, learners must complete all course prerequisites listed below and an online pre-test.
