This eLearning program assists learners in recognizing what is necessary for identifying, preventing and disposing of traditional and non-traditional forms of contraband. Learners explore how the presence and distribution of contraband compromises their authority, peer relationships, and the safety of youths.

- Identify traditional and non-traditional items considered to be contraband in a secure detention facility.
- Recognize how managing the presence and distribution of contraband can increase facility safety and minimize incidents of their authority being compromised.
- Improve facility safety by accurately reporting, documenting, securing and disposing
of contraband.
