Learning, Evolving, and Advancing Professionally (LEAP) Program

Get ready to embark on a leadership development journey with the Learning, Evolving, and Advancing Professionally (LEAP) program! LEAP builds on new leaders’ existing strengths by offering training and coaching as well as learning communities to support ongoing growth.

Who Should Attend?

New supervisors within the ACS Division of Child Protection.

Why Choose Our Program?

LEAP uses a strengths-based approach to support participants as they grow into this new role. After registering for the program, participants complete their competency-based self-assessment before participating in a series of supervisory-focused Department of Citywide Administrative Services (DCAS) trainings to build their knowledge as new leaders. But the support doesn’t end there. After completing the training series, participants engage in individual and group coaching sessions to further develop the skills they need to be successful. Participants also join learning communities to connect with other supervisors to share insights and further their growth.
