This eLearning program provides learners with the foundational knowledge and skills needed to supervise safe and productive family time at the ACS Nicholas Scoppetta Children’s Center. This training introduces learners to the best practices for planning, supervising and post-visit processing of family time through interactive case scenarios. The course highlights key components of the ACS Family Visiting Policy and includes resource documents to support learners in applying new knowledge on the job.
Who Should Attend?
All direct service staff, supervisors and managers, as well as any staff member working at the Children’s Center who may supervise family visits.

Learners will:
- Recognize how quality family time supports child and family well-being, as well as the achievement of reunification or permanency.
- Be able to explain best practices of planning for, supervising and conducting post-visit processing of family time.
- Be able to describe and document what is observed during family time.

Course Components
Once enrolled in the course, learners will complete a 30-minute eLearning course. Completion of all components is necessary to receive a Certificate of Completion.
