This eLearning program provides foundational knowledge about Safety Culture and how its practices promote positive working relationships, equity, accountability, and racial justice. Learners follow a supervisor and observe how they incorporate Safety Culture practices in staff meetings, individual supervision, and when working with children and families. Through scenarios, learners identify and apply the eight core elements of Safety Culture. Additionally, learners observe staff testimonials about their experience with a culture of safety. This training emphasizes Safety Culture’s role in fostering a culture of learning and improvement over a culture of fear and blame. A strong Safety Culture recognizes that all staff have an essential role in keeping children and families safe.
